Makarska Unimog Experience Team has designed an attractive adrenaline and adventure program for you that you can experience in the beautiful areas of the Biokovo Nature Park, Biokovo Road and Skywalk "Heavenly Promenade". Skywalk "Heavenly Promenade" is part of the project New Adrion, which aims to promote the sustainable use of natural heritage of Biokovo Nature Park. It is certainly the most impressive and complex part of this project, but also the most interesting to visitors because of its extreme component. The Skywalk is a 1228-meter-high, horseshoe-shaped Celestial Promenade above the cliff, with a glass walkway. The road to the Skywalk is a story in itself. Namely, the road is Biokovo road which is the highest Croatian road that starts at 360 meters above sea level and ends at 1762 meters at the top of St. Jure (St. George), which is the highest point in Croatia that can be reached by road. The road, and the Skywalk itself, is located in the Biokovo Nature Park, which is one of the 11 nature parks in Croatia, declared in 1981. Biokovo Nature Park, at first glance a bare mountain without too much life, is essentially not like that. Numerous animal species were found on it, including 87 species of insect beetles, as many as 221 species of butterflies, some of the rare species of birds such as the golden eagle, rabbits, wolves, foxes, wild boars, mountain goats and mouflons, but also several species of snakes, the viper being known as the most venomous snake in Europe. The park itself has over 1500 plant species, out of which as many as 40 are endemic species.
